You have brains in your head, feet in your shoes, you can steer yourself in any direction you choose.

Layers do look nice though.  It totally depends what a person is looking for.  Layers do make it so that you have to cut your hair short for it to all be one length again, but not everyone is looking to do that.  I know that my hair was short and layered, and it has grown out, and is still slightly layered, but it looks good.  Layers can look good both long and short.

Ask and you shall receive

they dont want you to tell them you are growing your hair...hell no... if you did that,   they wouldn't have you coming back  month after month.  best way is...    dont  go to  a hairdresser.  you dont need  them.   let your hair grow & about once or twice a year have a  good friend cut only the very bottoms of the hair  to   even it out,  soon   all the hair will be the same length,  hairdressers are a  rip off.   then they act like they are your best friend or act like they are a fortune teller.   tell them all to kiss your butt.
