Sure.  Everyone knows that women are better than men at hockey.  I can't see why women wouldn't be competitive at baseball or soccer, either.

Loyalty is the costliest virtue that exists: it includes your life.  Disloyalty is the costliest vice that exists: it includes your soul.

Hi, Profitbob.

I will admit that there were some sports I couldn't do when I was younger: the guys in the shower would have stared at me.

Not all sports are the same.  I like shooting sports.  Okay, I can't pull a ninety-pound bow like my son Ryan but I can pull a 30 pound bow and shoot that way.  Maybe I can't use Jack's .50 rifle that he takes elk hunting, but I do okay with my easier shooting 30.06.

I bowl with a 16-pound ball, and play pool.

I used to like wrestling until I started filling out and the guys I was wrestling started touching things that they were not supposed to.  The only man allowed to do this anymore is my husband.

I still like to play baseball.  I hit about 240 and pitch 160.  Not bad for an old broad.

Nurses are compassion in lab coats and medical scrubs .

Good points Marcy!  And no, you're not an old broad. :D

As for the question, why not?  If a girl can do what the guys in the NBA are doing , why should they not be permitted to play?  Sadly though, this might never happen with all the machismo-culture embedded into our minds.
