 Be Thankful

 Speak softly

 Let your love shine...

I believe anyone can enter a sweat lodge.  It is my understanding that it is a way of cleansing one's spirit/mind/soul as well as body of impurities.

It is told that is needed mind & physical purification in order to get  spiritual advance to achive enlightment as goal.

One of the ancient methods to achive physical purification es getting on sweat cabs, called in Mexico Temazcal.

In order to get some spiritual advance, spiritual practitioners use sweat cabs full of herbs and copal to get mind, soul and physical clarity and purification.

Evreything is energy, the energy is light. We are light, but in order to experience that weightless state, we need to sutilize our dense body in order to get that purification that take you to experience higher evolutive levels.

<thank you and sorry about orthography.

Hi Glory; people seek a closer spiritual experience through use of a sweat lodge. They believe your body is also cleansed of bad impurities . Yes they will accept non-Native Americans. But please read this article for your own safety before you enter a sweat lodge.

There have been many other similar situations.  I am not against sweat lodges just always listen to your own mind; when you think enough is enough then obey your own instincts.  And why do people do it?? Why do cows eat green grass and give white milk..Surprised ??

Yesterday's gone and Today is going fast, Tomorrow is all we have, Until it to has passed

Glory my dear it is all a matter of brainwashing. Some fanatic said you could gain spiritual healing by spending time in a sweat lodge. People today are willing to believe anything new and "trendy." It's for the bored and the easily manipulated brain to seek peace of mind and spiritual healing through any means they can.

They used to be called saunas, people sat in them to lose weight, now it's taken on a whole new meaning. Just like so many things that have come before and will come in the future, it's all a matter of how pliable your brain is and how easy to manipulate.

It's no different then the big craze over colonics. They are worthless, have absolutely no medical benefits, and can actually be very dangerous. Right up there with the sweat lodges. The same applies.

If you THINK they will help or you will gain benefits from their use, of course they will work for you. It is however, all in your mind, and there is positively no scientific evidence to back up any of this hogwash!

It is very similar to giving a patient a placebo instead of real medication. You can trick the mind into believing anything, if the sales pitch is persuasive enough.

Don't just rock the boat, turn it over, if you're not on it!

People go to a sweat lodge to smoke their peyote and hallucinate. And they call that cleansing the mind, spirit and soul. I call it illegal drug use. Good Luck
