pinot noir, merlot, soave (an Italian white)

Really there is no right or wrong answer.  If it was me I would walk into my favorite wine store and ask someone who works there. Part of their training is to be able to recomment wines to go with certain food.  Don't be shy about asking. They will be helpful and polite to you.  Just tell them your dinner plans and ask for suggestions.
