Sprem Donor Forced to Pay Child Support

A man who (claims to) has donated sperm to a co worker will now be forced to pay child support.

Will this have any effect on sperm banks?

Will men be scared to donate now?

It's not the first case.....  I am not a lawyer but I came across several cases in which a child reached the age of 18 and appealed to the court to get a permission to open the confidencial book and find out who his father was (a sperm doner).  The court gave that permission.  Later on they returned to court and appealed to get finnacial support..... 
Yes, no doubt at all: it will dramatically effect the sperm banks.  I believe that if that is the case not too many will be willing to donate..... (that's an understatement ! - I should preferablly say that under those conditions one should be mad to donate sperm).   I believe the authorities will have to think it over again !.

I have to agree with Oron. Cases like this will definitely change men's decisions of whether to donate their sperm. I think the sad part about this situation is that after 18 years, the sperm donor is likely to get major financial problems as a result of what he perceived at the time to be a good deed.
