Fertility Stories - infertility experiences of people like you.

Hi. I'm sorry to hear of your difficulties. It seems you need a more aggressive approach if you have been trying for 6 years.

Your wife should have a hormonal workup & you should be retested to see if the sperm is part of the problem or not.

Once you've completed these tests, your doctor should be able to recommend a plan of action, possibly including IUI - intrauterine insemination. If male infertility seems to be more of a problem, then you may move on to IVF and ICSI (even without trying IUI).

All my best,

low sperm definitely has something to do with it. if your current treatment isn't working or hasn't worked for so long, then maybe it's time to get a second opinion. As you know there are may ways to skin a cat sort of speak. some men find medical treatments work while others find that

natural supplement help increase sperm. unfortunately i have no experience with either but do know of friends who have used both methods and found success. good luck.

If you can afford to, arrange for a test. This is the only way that you can know if you have a low sperm count. Otherwise you will both experience anxiety and this in itself may lessen your chance of conception.

Right now you are not suffering from low sperm count but from anxiety. can you ignore the childbearing issue and do it you wife without any further ambitions for at least six months and see what haps. do find a way to like sex also try to discover how to enjoy it with her. The feed more on water, vegetables, fruits, and nuts avoid unnatural foods. Enjoy a healthy food and have her as a peice of pleasure sexually as often as you can. Everything is alright.
