For special ed inclusion teachers....how is it done at your school? Do you teach lessons along with the general education teacher or are you primarily assisting students individually while he/she does all the teaching?

It really depends on the teacher. I was an inclusion teacher for several years. One LD teacher I worked with loved doing lessons in my classroom. We would break the kids into smaller groups and give 20 minute lessons and then switch groups. This would help with planning and the smaller groups made for more interaction. The next year, the special ed teacher I worked with did not want to teach, she felt she was only there for "her students."
