Your soul in reincarnation and your spirit-soul combination in heaven or hell?

This is another attempt I'm making to provide a combination of spirituality and soulfulness in two different religious systems.

Could it be that the christian (and jewish and so on) notion of "selling ones soul" implies that the life hereafter will not be determined by the will of the one who has done the selling? In other words: Could "going to hell" mean that the spirit of this life looses all influence over the souls coming lives, by that spirit being too mean to be dealt with? The notion of "purgatory fire" would then perhaps mean that you have a next life in whichyour soul is more or less free to connect to the present one, but you don't have any absolute freedom, until you have no more lessons to learn, i.e. no more (earthly) lifes to be having to live?

You have two choices in life concerning your soul. 1. You can choose to do mostly or all wrong and your soul will be lost. 2. You can seek God and believe in him 100% you will have life after life. Remember God makes everything possible, he is the key to eternity. God has seen my family and me through two real bad storms of life. He saw us through both storms. When it come to your soul you are the captain of your ship. Direct all your troubles and your life to God and you will be a winner. You know winners feel real good. God wants you to feel good. May God always bless you. I hope you continue to believe in God. Tell the truth as much as you can and shame the devil. The truth makes God happy, as you know a lie falls down at your feet. The truth stands up forever. God is the truth.

Respectfully,

Sylvia Scott Gibson

Your question assunes reincarnation and the saving of your soul through works and proper living.

Christianity says that we are saved by grace and not by works. We live only once and then the judgement. Look into it and learn that reincarnation is a philosophy invented by man.

i believe i can fly

dont waste your time... try to make the best out of THIS life because you live only once (unless proven otherwise). means: do whatever you can to be able to look at yourself in the mirror everyday and not be ashamed at what you see. just try to be good as possible. and smile to strangers.

Love is the law.Innocent

Greetings!  I'm going to attempt to answer your question as it seems sort of muddled.  I can understand you wanting to figure out personal truths as they relate to your expression of spirituality and religion.  I would not think that "selling one's soul" is really apt, unless you are approaching this from a "free will" standpoint where the soul/incarnation makes a decision to act in a particular manner, be that good or bad.  I'm assuming in this case that the "selling" equates to the latter.  I do not believe in purgatory, but I do believe that the soul goes to where it best resonnates to and that includes "The Pit" which is an absence of God and of Love.  The soul cannot be destroyed as you cannot destroy energy, only transform it.  Each soul has particular lessons that they came on board to learn.  A soul who has opted to engage in very negative things will, if they are negative enough will find themselves in the pit which will take a very long time to emerge out of.  If you are looking at a reincarnation standpoint, the checks and balances don't always occur in the lifetime that the person is currently experiencing.  There has been recent studies since the 1980's regarding past life regressions and what happens in between incarnations.  Souls don't just die and sit on some happy cloud somewhere, they continue learning and growing even on the astral.  The ascended masters are those that have evolved to a point where no further incarnations are necessary.  Buddah, Jesus, Mohammed are all examples of ascended masters.  If you are trying to mesh belief systems together to form a new cohesiveness, than you have to really look at what you are attempting to learn or do, including further studying those aspects.
