Photoshop will not help her, but we can get rid of her cigerette.
Looking to get rid of photo flaws? This method is great for removing zits, tattoos, logos, and anything else that doesn't belong in your picture.
1
Open up your photo of choice in Photoshop. I will use this photo of Lindsa Lohan smoking, and remove the cigarette. I'm using Photoshop 6.0, but I know all the versions after have the same tools I use here.
-
Step 2
The clone stamp tool is the key to this technique. The clone stamp tool is the button with the stamp on it. Click on the stamp so that tool is selected. Make sure you selected the clone stamp tool and not the clone pattern tool.
-
Step 3
Zoom in on the flaw of the picture. Select a brush size and type. I like to use the airbrush vs. the solid brush for texturing purposes. The size of the brush depends on the size of the flaw being removed. Don't be afraid to try a few different brush sizes, that's what the history function is for.
-
Step 4
In the picture for step 3 I have my brush right above the cigarette in Lindsy's hair. This is a good place to start because the cigarette is covering up part of her hair. You need to recreate what the flaw is hiding. Now hold the "Alt" button and the brush will turn into the stamp icon. When the mouse is clicked, what ever is under the icon will be copied. Now let go of the "Alt" button and the brush is back. Go to use the brush and notice the brush is painting what is copied. What is being copied is always changing, the little cross hairs by the brush indicates what part of the photo is being copied. I like to start with a smaller brush and try to get the edges and detail, then follow with a bigger brush to smooth things over.

Step 5
Lastly, I'll use the blur tool on about 15% pressure and blur the area where the flaw was for a finishing touch. The more you try this the better you will become and more fun it will be.
