What is a solid web marketing budget?

Hi

i would like to get a ball park figure as to how much it would cost to market/advertise a new site, meaning what is considered a good budget for a meaningful, strong web marketing campaign? S.E.O, affiliate programs, links in the right places, banner ads etc...

60 thumbs up

When talking about big firms, having already business outside the internet, roughly it is estimated that a new site should invest 40% of their internet budget to advertising or marketing the new site. When talking about an individual with no previous experience as businessman, you can actually try to do it with no money. You can get an advice from ezineartides.com, kchut.com and articlecube.com.

It is not good enough to try your best, you must know what to do, and then try your best

With offline business, you can set a good budget for marketing. But online business is not necessarily the case. All you need is a guide that shows you step by step to generating targeted traffic to your site.

There are many ways to drive massive traffic to your blog which I will not be able to state here but answers to your question can be found:

website traffic and linkbuilding

Also, you can download these quality free ebooks on website traffic generation:

Authority Black Book - a superb guide for generating traffic to any site- It is a free download.

Another great resource for website traffic generation can also be downloaded free here

Ultimate web traffic channel - it is also a free download
