Male circumcision is not actually a Jewish or a Muslim tradition only, and there are tribes in Africa who perform a similar act.  Herodotos describes the Ancient Egyptians who did the same.

I'd say that there is a controversy today concerning the health benefits of circumcision, and that many medical professionals no longer recommend it.

Morine Hall, answerd it best I think. But I will add that There are also down sides for
male circumcision, sexual plesure is reduced for men that are circumcised becaus the have less sensory receptors.                    more over, in the Jewish religun circumcision is done by a Mohel (=a circumciser) and ther have been known to be a lot of mistakes, and infections involving the mohel's that still practise the old ritual of sucking the blood from the penis.

well , its good for males to circumcise.

because of the following facts:

1.increases the erection of penis

2.leads to healthy sex life

3.after urinating , its always hard shed those last drops of urine .ultimately it sticks on to ur pants.but this problem gets reduced by circumcission.
