My smoke detectors make beeping sound even after I replaced all batteries

My smoke detectors make beeping sound. I replaced all batteries. the beeping sound continues. the smoke detectors are the electrical wire system. I went futher removing all the smoke detectors; yet the beeping sound continues. My guess is the beeping sound comes from the electrical alarm system not the dectectors themself. I want to get rid of the this system and replace them with the individual smoke detectors. Please me how to get rid of the annoying beeping sound. Thank you very much,

Purchase a new smoke detector. Before you buy a new smoke detector check with your local fire department to see if they offer them for free.

I guess it's the smoke detector's problem. Verify it by using certain test equipment . It’s available in electrical stores.
