IE smartcreen warning about Registry Easy? (Need help quick!)

I bought a Registry cleaner called "Registry Easy". Every review I read, (independents), gave 5 star raves. But when I typed the website, (registryeasy.com), into my browser I immediately got a big red warning page from my security about this site being a bad place to go. So I did yet another exhaustive search to find out why and all I could find was that many techs said that some competition had turned in bad reports to IE security just to knock the software down a few pegs and harm their sales. So I overrode the IE security, (tools>smart screen filter>turn off), and downloaded the program. After I ran it, it cleaned out some registry files that I needed to start my computer. So I referred to a restore point and that got me going again but it also removed Registry Easy. So I re-downloaded the program, (after all, I paid $40.00 for it), and emailed tech support. I'm waiting for a reply, but can anyone tell me what is going on with the IE security and Registry Easy? I need help fast!

I was suckered into buying a registry cleaner.  They are a joke.  Get Pirifrom CCleaner. It cleans IE, WE and your system cookies and other junk.  It also has a registry cleaner.  Once you get the knowledge you can go thru and choose which cookies to leave (passwords, sign in, history of viewed site, recycle bin).  You can get this free down load at download.com.  It's full of free downloads.

You can also go to My computer and right click on Drive C.  Go to properties and let click.  Go to tab tools and left click disk clean up.  Uncheck any cookies or files you would like to be left.  This can also sub for a cleaner.  Get the CCleaner.  Easy to use and it has an option to remove programs and all of its sub folders. The one that windows provides doesn't always get rid of all of the sub folders.
