Is it smart for congress to increase our debt ceiling?

Treasury Confident Congress Will Increase $12.1 Trillion Debt Ceiling

-The White House wants an increase of at least $1 trillion to $1.5 trillion, according to a person familiar with the deliberations between lawmakers and the administration. Record budget deficits are pushing the national debt closer to the $12.1 trillion statutory limit.-

Seems like Obama is out to break America yet.

It may be wonderful for Obama and the American people but it will be terrible for our grandchildren and great grandchildren to be saddled with such a heavy debt and pay the taxes to pay it off. As it is pensions and savings of today and tomorrow have been seriously depleted, what of future generations?

I believe in Debt for instance if I create a Puzzle and in waiting to sell it this is considered Debt, that is if you really need the puzzle.

Although if I lend someone $20.00 and not give them the tax, lets say at this time is One percent oops no forget that lets say 10% then this is a value of $2.00; shouldn't I give the borrower $22.00 for the sale of it the $20.00 isn't really touched well at least in the eye of the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT and or FEDERAL RESEARVES BANK OK alrighty then so here we have a sale conducted the tax is assessed to it during the time of sale. My puzzle is now making money o goody I'll  get $12.00 instead of $10.00 my initial thought of set sale although I may vary in my cost either way it didn't exist yesterday, so now today there is a more so flow of currency available. Thank Goodness for that for a trade may not be sufficient. Can you imagine me trading a Puzzle for a Poodle well that may happen but only once ok maybe a few times, still security exists, and through it it should be allowed to make money for itself, security is the currency we now have in some form of circulation. You distribution is #1 for me I truly think that everyone should have funds for distribution Holy moly not even do I have a Puzzle but I have a design for the building to store it in, oops no funds in circulation darn o well till next. You may vote me in a President for this country at any time though it would be recommended to do so during the next election, if my name is not there just jot it down in the empty space and fulfill my wishes for productivity, perhaps as well as yours.
