Insurance

A:

Although there are discount programs, etc these are not a good alternative to health insurance.  The discount programs are ok for little things but if something serious was to ever happen you could end up owing thousands of dollars.

It's possible if you are willing to spend some time getting quotes that you might actually be able to find a plan that is affordable.

There are free on-line rating services that make it easy and that will provide you with multiple health insurance quotes.

There's a site at http://mysite.verizon.net/ressg6c7/savingmoneyoninsurance/ that has direct links to 5 or 6 of the most reliable rating services.

By clicking the links on this site and filling out 4 or 5 of the free on-line quote request forms and submitting them you should end up being quoted by literally hundreds of health insurance companies. This is your best bet for getting good coverage at an affordable rate.

Hope this helps!
