I have a small bump near the outside of my vagina ...

I have a small bump near the outside of my vagina and near my anus, inbetween the two. When I touch it, it is quite sore. I can almost pinch it up between my fingers, and it feels like a perfectly round ball.

When I looked it up on Web MD, it said it could be a boil, but it also said that if it is near your anus to call a doctor... Is this dangerous, whatever it is? I am so worried :(

they could be Bartholin cysts which are pretty common in women, the b....gland somehow becomes clogged, by hair or oils... , dont panic..antibiotics are powerful agents, if they are caused by an infection...good luck

It's not a hemmoroid i does sound like a boil just don't pinch it put some neosporin on it kor you can get boil ointment at the pharmacy but just don't squeeze it it makes it worse

You should not fool around with this. Go to the Doctorbefore it turns into something serious. Something like this in nothing to fool around with.

Sometimes Bartholins cysts have to be surgically excised.Your OBGYN doctor will know what is wrong and what to do about it.

marstondm...if yiou are having the kind of cysts I think you are having which are Bartholin cysts there is a procedure to make it go away for good so that it does not come back every six months like that.I know because not only am I a nurse but my mother had the procedure done many years ago back in the 70's after suffering with those cysts for years,,the procedure was then developed and she has never had another.Go to another doctor if this one does not fix if for good.
