Please slow down when speed is reduced in populated areas.

My 20 year old daughter was T-boned a month ago yesterday, some people say it was her fault, but the person that slammed directly into the middle of her car was driving at excessive speeds and failed to slow down before coming into a school zone. My daughter now has a fracture tailbone and a fractured pelvicbone. Her car was totaled the dash, front and back seat are buckled, she had to be cut out of the car, the person skidded into the middle of the road if she would have stayed on her side of the road my child probably would not of been hit. Who's fault do you think it was?

I am so sorry to hear about your daughters accident but so happy to hear that she is not more seriously hurt. As far as the fault goes, you're daughter may have been in the wrong, but it does not excuse the fact that the other driver was excessively speeding and in a school zone. If the other driver was driving by the law, she probably would have had the time and the space to avoid hitting your daughter. Again I am sorry to hear about the accident and I wish your daughter a speedy recovery.
