My favorite, but unhealthy technique, is advancing my body as much as I can on the cushion, till my neck reaches the beginning for the back rest. Had some sweet dreams like that when I got really tired.

I am pretty much sure any sleeping posture in a chair will harm your back unless it is a proper sleeping sofa. I personally tend to rest my head on the table  and snooze of . But there are also some dangers falling asleep on the chair:

I have tried many times, also I manage to have a nap still cannot move on for long a 20-30 mins nap and I am up.

Better you have chair where you can support your neck, else you can hurt your self.
