The color of the sky caused bythe reflection of scattered  light. When light spreads through the atmosphere, the longer wavelengths (red and orange) pass right through without the obstruction of the air. The shorter blue wavelengths are absorbed by the different gas moleculess of the air . The blue light is gets radiated and scattered . This scattered blue light reaching your eye makes the sky looks blue.
