I am looking to buy my first paddleboard. I have a lot of canoe/kayak paddling experience and do a little longboard surfing. I rented a 12' and liked it. We live in a water community and would use it mainly here in my back yard (flat water), along with my 18 lb. Jack Russell Terrrier. I may also take it to the coast for occasional small wave surfing. What should I look for when buying one- what size- ect.?
