I want to b rush electroplate a small steel handgun with brass. Can I dissolve a piece of brass pipe fitting in a bout 4 to 6 ozs of household ammonia and use a stainless steel wand wrapped in cloth to brush it on with usin about 3vdc at about 500ma current? If not I will appreciate a better way to do this
Dont want to buy one of those $33 plus $10 shipping from caswell, just want to learn how to mix my own brass or nickel solution to do small stuff at home.
