Can I put my signature in a foreign language?

Can I put my signature in a foreign language? My first langauge is Chinese and so is my name. I now live in America and I need to sign pretty often, but I don't feel that my name spelled in English like my real name because the spelling can't truly reflect the sound of my real name anyway, not even close. Signatures are usually hard to read, right? I just want to know if it's legally allowed to put one's signature in a foreign language. Thank you.
