A shoot coming up from my Avocado tree

My Fuerte Avocado has started growing from the base of the tree a shoot just at ground level or below, this shoot is growing very rapidly. Should I keep it or is this bad?l1078

Puplava On Own Agriculture Real-Estate... Are There Agriculture REITs? Pretty interesting little ). Seems to me the question is, why aren't there any agriculture REITs? Any thoughts? Seems like someone that are related to agriculture. MOO is perhaps the best known. There are also ETF's that are related
