Don't use low quality shampoos.It may damage your hair though Panteene is a good brand. Nice products from "Vichy Labs USA " are available in the market. I have tried and i found it very useful.
Waxy build up.
Need Dandruff shampoo. Definitely works. I had dandruff when young. Now after menapause it went away. Also if you wash your hair too much like everyday it causes dry scalp and dandruff. you need to brush a lot with a good brush. Go to Ulta for excellent brushes. Now the only problem I have is with hair falling out.
