This is how the Lord put it to me, we have a spirit in us but that spirit is dead to God  we lost that spirit of God that Adam had in him God formed Adam and put his spirit in Adam Adam knew no sin Adam had had the spirit of God in him.

But Adam sinned and Adam Lost the spirit of God Gods spirit left from Adam and Adam became spiritually  dead, because of Adams sin we are all born in sin our spirit is spiritually dead like Adam's was.

With being born with a dead spirit dead in sin we can't go to God on our own

man is born dead in sin man can't even think God on his own with his dead spirit.  Thats why God came to earth in the flesh Jesus Christ who was God in the flesh  and died on the Cross sin free and rose from the grave in 3 days and is now in heaven  that was so we being dead in sin dead in spirit would have a way back to God through Jesus Christ and get our spirit back that Adan lost in the fall.

Now that Jesus Christ is in heaven  and us man being dead is sin in spirit we still can't go to God on our own, God calls us to Christ  we here his word we believe what we here and we go to Christ and its through Jesus Christ that we are born again through Jesus Christ with the Holy Spirit of God.

We have nothing to do about it there is nothing we can do on our own to call up Gods holy spirit because we are born dead in spirit dead in sin condemned to die in sin because of the fall,  It's by Gods grace that we are saved  not of our  own doing,    If we go to Christ  it's God that called us,  and we heard him call from hearing his word,  God calls us to Christ.  NO one goes to the father(God) unless the father (God) calls him to me (Jesus Christ) and its through Jesus Christ  and Jesus Christ alone that gives us the holy spirit of God. God calls whom he chooses some will here God and not go to Jesus Christ  some will,  some believe they can just call on God on there own with there dead spirit mind and think they are saved because they called on God there self.

However it's God that calls us and it's through Jesus Christ we repent from the sin that we were born with from the fall and see that we are sinners born in sin condemned to die dead in spirit, and see that we are nothing without God  worthy only of death  then when God shows us that Through Jesus Christ we ask forgiveness and we through Jesus Christ are born again and given our spirit back we are born again with the holy spirit of God the one we lost because of Adams sin.

Thats how God put it to me, in the word of God I am born again with the spirit of God through Jesus Christ who was God in the flesh on earth and died on the Cross for my sins I am saved by the grace of God and not of anything I did to earn or deserve it, only by the grace of God did I here the word of God (God is his word and the word is God) call me to Jesus Christ and through Christ I am saved by his grace.

Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that
believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they
shall speak with new tongues;

What did Jesus meant by new tongues?


The "tongues" part is two-fold.  Even today there have been reports of missionaries suddenly acquiring a new language skill.  I had a friend who told me that years ago he knew a guy who wanted to become a missionary in some Latin country, but the fellow only spoke English.  So he took like one or two classes in a learning-Spanish-class.  He quit because the language came to him suddenly .  That would be a fulfillment of the above Scripture. 

    But there is another type of tongues that will be present in the endtimes, which was also present in the time of the Apostles.  (And I have never heard anyone claiming to have heard it today.)  Below is that gift:

Acts 2:1-12
2 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues , as the Spirit gave them utterance .
5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language [i.e., at the same time!] .
7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue , wherein we were born?
9 [including people from all these languages:] Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,
10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,
11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.
12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?  KJV

    The above "tongues" is that when a servant of God speaks in his own one language, the people hearing him hear him in their own language.  In other words; say that I speak a sentence in English, and you hear it in Japanese, and another standing next to you hears it in Spanish, and another person hears it in Greek, etc . , because these are their individual native tongues.   But you all heard the same words from my mouth at the same time .  This is the power of the Holy Spirit effecting the speech and hearing of the people.  I feel that this will happen again at the endtime.  Apostle Peter, who spoke the above Scripture, then went on to explain to the people what this was:

Acts 2:16
16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;  KJV

    Peter was referring to the Old Testament prophecy which was partially being fulfilled right before their eyes:

Joel 2:28-29 [God speaking]
28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy , your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit .  KJV

    As you must know, this false "talking in tongues" that is done in many churches today is just a fraud.  And worse, it is evil spirits masquerading and deceiving the people. 

    The tongues from God are understood, they are not the babble that you hear certain churchmen speaking.  God is not the author of confusion.    Simple formula.  If it doesn't make sense, it isn't from God.
