Can a sex offender ever get out of lifetime registration? I committed the crime 10 years ago. I did my time in prison, completed parole successfully, got married, and now have two beautiful children. Being registered and having a felony record makes it hard for me and my family to move wherever we want. And it makes employment difficult. I do work full time though. People can change and I am proof of that. I shouldn't have to register for the rest of my life.
