I am not familiar with this producer, but this wine should be pretty good. Classico is a well respected appelation these days, and most wines produced there are of very good to outstanding quality. (It is possible that your particular bottle was damaged in the transport from Italy, so have a back-up purchased locally, though this is a worst-case scenario.)
The wine should go very well with any kind of grilled meats or hard cheeses like Parmesan Reggiano or Peccorino Romano (which are essentially the same type of cheese but from different regions). Also, a pasta dish like penne with slow-cooked tomato sauce with Italian sausage and fresh basil and real parmesan will do quite nicely if you are looking for something simpler. The Sangiovese grape that this wine is made from makes an acidic end-product, so choose more acidic foods to pair with it.
