Answer 1 out of 1

A:

Antique clocks are priced depending on age, overall condition, maker, and, in the rarer pieces, historical value. Ideally, antique clocks for sale retain full functionality, although this is not a sure sign of high monetary value; an antique clock may be working but without most of its original parts, most importantly its internal mechanism, it is little more than a shell of its antique self. Thus there truly is no clear answer whether a fully restored antique clock should be assigned a higher value.
