I suggest you spend time with her, since you are not yet commited to her best friend, so you are free. But the question is, let's say she accepts you back, what will you do once summer is over? If you really are into each other, no matter how busy you get, you'll stick to the end.

If you still have feelings for your ex, maybe you shouldn't be with the girlfriend you're with now... I think you and your ex need to sit down and have a talk. Dont blurt it out in her face to get her shocked. Just ask if there is any chance of fixing things and gettin back on track

Sounds like you are not a mature adult yet, you still  want your cake and eat it too.If you could break up with your ex then start dating her friend, you deserve neither.Maybe your ex had to work, some people have no other choice. If I was both of these girls I would tell you where to go and don't come back. With your way of thinking you don't deserve either of them. You will find that people can't always be around when people want their attention. If your ex will have you back untill her schedule keeps her too busy for you, then that is the problem you two will have to work out.Good luck.

First of all be a man enough to tell her best friend that you were loney and that you were confused and hurt, somehow you found comfort in her but that YOU DO NOT LOVE, ask her to forgive you and that you feel bad to have done this to her but that you never consciously meant to use her nor hurt her. This is the first step you have to do. The wecond step is that you need to get involve in some sport, work-out, bike, walk, get involve in a hobby. You might consider even taking an evening class, maybe something additional that you've always wanted to learn, eg another language, music, or learn to play an instrument etc. You really need time to find yourself unfortunately running into the arms of another woamn is NOT THE ANSWER. A break up is hard especially when you're young and you sound young anywhere from 18 to 23 years old no more than 25 years old. In life one need to resove the problem first before running into another relationship, and if it the relationship prolongs, you'll be cheating yourself and her, because you don't love her. You're still in love with the other one. So why fool yourself or her. WAIT, WAIT, WAIT and that is the hardest thing to do is wait especially when you want to run.....keep yourself busy and try not to think of neither your ex nor the present girl. The present girl should go relaease her. If it's not your ex then keep busy and wait for the right girl your heart and spirit will tell you, you'll know when you meet her....Take this time and make it quality time for yourself...keep your mind off of them and be a wise decesion maker....Ms. Right will come enjoy life for now, sometimes it's better for things to happen now and not later when life could be more complecated, eg. marry, children, etc. when you hook up (marry someone) you want it to be for life. So the question one should ask "Is this the woman I would want to spend the rest of my life with, to love cherish and treasure for the rest of my life, the woman I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT" and dose she feel JUST LIKE ME AM I ALL SHE WANTS IN AN EVERLASTING RELATIONSHIP" that's very important. So my friend for now take the time to search and get to know YOU, who are you, what do you want in life, is the career you've chosen the one you'll be happy doing for the rest of your life, if not soul search and find out everything about you and go for it, don't let anything nor anyone stop you from becoming all that you want to be. Always be happy within you don't let the circumstances of life determine how you feel. Happines comes from within so find it and allow the Heavenly Father (Jesus Christ) show you the way of life. Make the right decisions in life so when you look back you could stand and say wo! not every desire nor goal will come to a finish but you'll be happy with the effort and energy you used to obtained where you stand.
