Can sedation cause a late period?

I am late for my period. I am usually bang on 28 days and this month today is my 35th day. I did a test on day 30 which was negative. The only difference this month is that I have had a colonoscopy under sedation and also a barium meal. Can this be the cause of my late period?

Many things can effect your period.  An airplane journey can make a period early and stress can delay it.  It could be a combination fo the colonoscopy and your birthday, so i would not worry too much.
