I work for a private security company in Nebraska. On our uniform we normally have stock title metal badges -- "Security Enforcement Officer"-- because they are cheap and the department is low budget. When we ordered several new badges someone accidentally ordered 6 point star shaped badges (stock title) that read "security special officer". My question is, is it legal for us to allow a new officer to use one of the star shaped badges or would it be better for them not to have a badge until a new shipment can be ordered?qt=q
