My question is about AVG Antivirus 7.5 FREE i downloaded this software from here.. while running the setup , its asking for the license number.... where shall i get it... and while downloading, it didnt as for my mail id and so and so...

You don't need any serial number for the free edition. try to download AVG from

here and than tell me if you'll still have any problem.

A Google search; "+AVG +free +download", produced the following link for downloading "AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition 7.5";

I don't know if this will help or not but I got AVG from a CD that came with a magazine. I think it was "Computer Shopper" or "Maximum PC".I'm fairly certain it was the May 2007 issue.My point is that there were no license issues since I installed from a disc.Also - I was using dial-up at the time so I didn't have to wait all day for it to download.It is my understanding that these discs usually contain useful utility programs among other things.It was worth the cost of the magazine to me to avoid the customary pitfalls and hassles.

try uninstalling  and reinstalling  it.  its  free so it shouldn't ask for a key

Ok, I also met this problem the same to you, Here is the solution:

-When it's prompt you to put the license number please put this key:

75VNU-TH1RR1-L7-P03-C01-S3S9MD-2YN-3AUS    after that continue your instalation, this should be ok already :). From Soeng Sok Sambo, 855 16 313 861, sambosoeng@yahoo.com, Sihanoukville, Cambodia. :D
