I too am searching for a science fiction book I read back in the early to mid 90's. It was probably a yound adults book as I was a freshman in high school. The story is about two twin boys (teenagers) and their mother who have inherited their grandfather's home. One boy stumbles upon what looks like a bomb shelter on his grandfather's land. It turns out it is more of a time capsule. Time stands still for those outside the capsule while time continues on for whoever is inside it. The twin who finds this capsule locks himself within it for what I think is one year. He comes out of the time capsule one year older than his twin. I know there is a lot more that I am just not remembering but it has been quite some time. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
