Its a bit simple, so let through so more education into the answer.

Building a drink: Building a drink is important and sometimes a lost art.

1. Ice - you start with ice so all the liquids can be cooled while pouring.

2. Alcohol - this goes next because its lighter than most flavorings. If you put the flavorings in first the alcohol will just stay on top.

3. Flavorings - this will push the alcohol up and will mix the drink for you a bit.

4. Flags - the little extras: limes, oranges, pineapple, olives.

Now a screwdriver is just vodka and orange juice. The vodka shouldn’t be cheap and the orange juice should be expensive. The ratio depends on you. Do you like it soft on the tongue or hard on the stomach?

Hehe, you couldn't find an easier cocktail to make

Basically it's only vodka and orange juice. The ratio usually used is 2:5 (in favor of the orange juice) with a few ice cubes. Naturally, you can change the ratio to whatever tastes best to you. And of course, use good vodka and real orange juice, otherwise your screwdriver will be awful.

I've seen recipes for more complicated variants for screwdriver, if you want me to look them up let me know.
