I have satellite Internet and would like to know how I can change my IP address whenever I would like to do that. I have 4 computers on a linksys router...with satellite do I have a linksys IP address or does each my computers come across the Internet as a separate address. I know that you can use a Sprint card or Verizon to change your IP address when you have DSl or cable, but can find no information about how it can be done with satellite.

It depends on your provider and their individual configuration. For instance, if you have a static IP address assigned to your CPE, then you won't be able to change it without contacting them for support.
However, it never hurts to power cycle it and see if that will render you a new IP address. I suggest to shutdown your PC, unplug your router and unplug your satellite equipment for about 5 minutes and plug it in.
Then go to http://www.ipchicken.com to look at your IP Address/Hostname.
Another thing to keep in mind, satellite providers often route their customers through a handful of proxies to help keep speeds acceptable for them. The best solution is to call their technical support and ask.
You don't. The IP address is assigned by your provider. Post why you feel you have a need to change your IP address and maybe you will get an answer that will help you.
It depends on your service provider but "change my IP" is a software that provide you facility to change your ip.
