I think just like with anything else, talk to thme in a language that they understand. They don't understand tons and tons of scriputres thrown at them. Get one scripture study it for yourself, let it go from information to revelation to you, let the reality of the deep love of Jesus Christ infuse every part of your being, and then let it flow from you in to them. They need something concrete, something real. Tell them your testimony. Where Jesus has brought you from, how His love has become so real to you and changed your life forever. I think scare tatics only tap into their emotions and will fade away in time. When they realize how much Jesus loves them, that is something that will stick. Find a scripture about that and really get the revelation of that scripture for yourself first. If it is just words to you and not a deep, deep revelation it will go in one ear and out the other. Pray for God to use your words in such a way that they can understand salvation to the depths of their being. And let the Spirit of God do the rest!!
