Who runs more?

I have a big argument with my friends about this. Is there any research on who runs more(meaning sprints) basketball players or soccer players?

It's hard to compare between the two, because a basketball player rarely plays more than 35minutes in a game. A football player run an average of 12km per 90m. Nevertheless , when talking relatively I believe that a basketball players run more, but don't know any research about the issue.
