Sure, my doormatt doesn't love me but I wipe my shoes on it anyway...... you see where I'm going here? You can be involved, you can function you can even communicate in a relationship where only one is doing the loving. You can also hurt, settle for less, be subjected to terrible mind games and ultimately have a horrible self image.
The bottom love is this, we all need love. Women especially need to give love, but understand that you are deserving of a love that is reciprocated.
The person who does not love in this type of relationship is no more than a user or better yet like a parasite. They will feed off you until there is little to nothing left, or worse, until something better comes along.
