Love is the battery of life....

Tnx Elena for giving me the opportunity to watch that wonderfull video...... I was shoched at the first half and even angry (told myself: how come Elena believes in that crap [sorry] than came the 2nd half and all is reversed. What is very important about this video is that paradigmas control our lives and some of us do live according to wrong paradigmas (e.g: Money is more important than happiness). Tnx again Elena, with your pemission I'll discuss it with my group and won't forget who exposed me to that piece of master wisdom. G-d bless you !.

Far away in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty, believe in them, and try to follow where they lead.
Louisa May Alcott

This actually choked me up.  It is so true and there are so many things to take from this.  As a young person I know how important it is to pay attention to the environment, to my family, to do what's right and to not forget about the values that I hold so dear, even though it may be difficult.  I love this... I've actually seen it before.

Dear David, Ivy and Njoy,

It really is true that how we look at things creates our reality.  As you said, David, if we are operating from the wrong paradigms, we create a very limited and negative experience for ourselves.

I see the changing that happened in this video as a form of creativity.  I use this when I work with people and it is very powerful.  Any idea that you have about anything can be looked at, very creatively, from different angles.  When we do this, we see something entirely different.  This was so very elegantly shown in the video.

This week, there have been several videos that have I have come across that have had a very profound affect on me.  Here is the link for another, that, in a different, but, maybe even more personal (for each of us) way, illustrates how wrong our prejudgements are.

I cried when I watched this video.  It is just so beautful and so is she. Smile

Dear David,

Please, please discuss this with your group.  I wish I could join you in your discussion, but, it would take me quite a while to arrive, LOL!

If my kids have a good life, I will be happy

It does give you something to think about, and I think that's what it gets at; we just think about things.

And then sit back.

Thanks Elena,

We have been programmed throught fear and doubt. This is our challenge. We must assume our responsibility as creative individuals and take charge of our fears and practice LIGHT.

That video was most profound my friend, thanks again.

How can one learn the truth by thinking? As one learns to see a face better if one draws it.

-Ludwig Wittgenstein

Elena, you have a knack for finding and asking great questions. What an ingenious video! While watching the first half, my heart sank and mentally I kept objecting point by point- the part about the narrator's generation being apathetic and lethargic really bugged me because I hear that assessment often but my experience tells me a completely different story, having seen thousands of twenty- and thirty-something people give up their spring breaks and vacations to come to work helping people in New Orleans. We see what we choose to see. When the video reversed, and the exact same words read in a different order gave the opposite message, my viewpoint was re-affirmed. That's what I choose to see.

But what am I doing? Not enough, yet. On some points, like putting family before work, I've made a lot of progress. The mention in the video of "it will be evident that"- or - "it can no longer be said that" "my peers and I care about the earth" is something I could be doing a LOT more about. We can't wait for top-down solutions to environmental problems. There needs to be a sea change in general attitude, and in regards to this, the so-called "Lost Generation" is way ahead of the rest of us.
