I have been robbed of my legal rights by a lie

My brother went to court and made a statement that was full of lies. My mother was severely abused in this nursing home and we refuse to pay them. My brother lies has hurt my mother deeply. Elder protection service step in and cleaned out my mother's bank accounts. They want to declare her mentally ill. They have taken my POA away. My mother is scare that strangers will take over her life. But here is the kicker. They will not talk to me. I have accuse of stealing and abusing my mother. I have the proof that shows my brother as the troublemaker. Elder servcies will not return my calls and their lawyer told outright that "your brother has said it is all your fault". This brother has been out of our mother's life for also three years because she caught him in a lie that might have forgery involved. I can't hire a lawyer because I live from check to check. And of course my mother can't get a lawyer because she has no money. I can't believe that the courts will only hear one side of the story. I was found guilty before I even spoke. I never went to court to present my side. I have all the papers that show my brother is guilty. How can they take his side and not hear me? I need help but I have no place to go and time is running out. Any suggestions?

The District Attorney dosent charge. Bring in your proof and show them, they can go after your brother.

Cool Equal justice for All

The law works but the system needs changed, We all abide by the law but sometime it failes us. The same with the goverment. God bless the USA, Brign our troops HOME safely, To the men who did not get the credit they deserve, MAY GOD WATCH OVER OUR SERVICE MEN.

You can tell your side if you go to a Legal Aid and ask for an an attorney and explain your side of it. Or possably you can find an Attorney who will take your case Pro Bono some times all it takes is ask. As both are free no cost to you.

Yes i suggest also that you look at the POA very carefully for the wording of Revokeable or Nonrevokeable as there are 2 types of a POA to see whitch one you have if it is Revokeable then it mas to have been revoked by your mother in writing signed witnessed and noterized in that order. Aslo look at the time and date the new one was signed and to whom given this power as the same applies to the new one in question was the same steps followed by your mother in writing signed witnessed and noterized in that order if not yours is still legal and don't let any one tell you different as it is legal all day long.
