himm..... a few options

 1.  i switched from sprint to verizon.  I thought sprint was lounder

 2.  get a bluetooth headset.  they go around your ear and can be pretty lound.  Just make sure the phone you has bluetooth options.  Then pick up an ear piece for about $40

3.  there is always a phone card.  If your home phone is best. then just make sure that you have a good phone card to make calls from to save on your cell phone bills.  check out www.pingo.com for a decent 1.8 cent rate for US long distance
