How can I get the right people to listen to my music?

Just the Beginning

I have been writing, recording, producing, editing, my own music and singing since the age of 14. I have been singing professionally for the past 4 years. My question is how can I get my music heard by a professional music producer, or a manager in the music industry who would actually listen to my music and advise me? I have worked very hard and now I need help to take me to the next level. Have you tried posting your videos to youtube? There are a lot of instant celebrities now thanks to youtube -- talents like Susan Boyle and that little girl from the Philippines (Charice, I think) are now extremely popular and their careers were launched in youtube.

I suggest you try to get attention through all social networks out there, for example Facebook. Try Twitter as well. Believe me' it can be viral and very helpful

Nice work, Ashton. I don't know how to answer your question; other than to agree with Maya. It looks like you are already doing the work yourself. And anyone from the Bay Area is good people, in my book. I was born in Walnut Creek, and grew up in Livermore during the 60's, and 70's.
