Who is responsible for the deaths in San Bernardino since 2005? while everyone sits back and do nothing for the past 3 years. why is that

What is the City of San Bernardino/Property Owners for the Meadowbrooks and other low income apartment buildings doing about all the Murders happening on there property since 2005?

My sugestion to the Assemblyman and coucilmen is to make these apartment owners accountable for the murders happening over and over agian. Hit them in their pockets with THOUSANDS OF $$$$$ so they can do something better then what they are doing. If one system is not working year after year then that means you need to do something better. Like making sure security cameras are on all these properties and working at all times that way no one has to SNITCH" as they say when its really helping another human being and stoping the crime in your community. But I understand they have to live in these buildings when the yellow tape is pulled down and the blood is cleaned up, so the CAMERA'S would make it easier to live in these apartment buildings and they can feel safe also. It can be funded by the City or State or even be TAX deducted. It's time for CHANGE family!

Who is responsible for the deaths in San Bernardino? The murderers.

Not the managers of apartment complexes -security cameras are not going to dissuade these people from shooting or stabbing their victims. While you are right, not every person killed in San Bernardino is a gang member, many of them are. And I fail to imagine that gang members preparing to shoot up an apartment would stop and reconsider because the apartment complex had put up cameras. The murder victims in this city are rarely randomly targeted. Often times the victims of attacks know their killers, yet even if they survive, they refuse to cooperate with the police.

Fining apartment complexes for renting to mopes is not a feasible option. Sure there are hundreds of slum housing areas in the city; but fining the owners is going to do nothing to encourage them to improve the quality of their complexes (as if that was a priority anyways).

Our fine city is unfortunately full of dangerous areas, and crime-infested apartments. The best advice for any person would be to move out of or not to visit apartments like the Meadowbrooks; you increase your chances of survival greatly by staying out of areas that get shot up on a weekly basis.

Mother we are in one of the most corrupt cities in america. And the courts do not protect you from slum lords let alone shooting, and whoever says that most people shot know there shooter is a fool! Most of these people are killing for reputation and could care less who you are or where you come from. If the police would consider treating people like humans maybe they would take the chance to talk but they are in danger trying to speak to the police. And ignorant people who could not possibly understand this situation have such a colorful oppinion, to bad they are blind to this life style. and as for the city they are trying to get slum lords to fix these properties by fining them, but the truth is that when you go to court there are some very corrupt judges who will give a bad decision violate your rights and hope you do nothing to protect your rights. Mother we are the change, they dont care they make their money off keeping us in court and letting the slum lords slide paying the city property taxes, but I have something for you all THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA COMMISSION ON JUDICIAL PERFORMANCE(www.cjp.ca.gov/compform.htm) You can get judicial ehics, canons, complaint forms if you have a complaint or feel that your rights were not ensured write a complaint immediatley letsv get these crooked judges out of here together and find out if this is why are kids are dying on the streets.

I am truly sorry for your loss and know that that pain will never go away. I don't ever want to imagine what that would be like. I did want to say though that I live a couple of houses down from the Meadowbrook complex. Not because I want to but because financially I have no other choice. Honestly though nothing ever happens on the street I live on. It's a different story for the next block over and the complex you are talking about. If I'm not mistaken they do have cameras and also security that patrol the grounds. Although I haven't seen security there in quite a while. There are these little wannabe gang members that cause a lot of the trouble. I wish they would put them ALL in jail!! I have a six year old son and never let him play outside if I am not there. I do see police cars patrolling the area frequently though. Someday I hope to live in an area where I know all of my neighbors and I am not afraid to walk down the street. I plan to move in the next 2 years. Wish me luck : D

Yeah they have camera's up but NOT running, well so they say the night my son got killed. And the security was convently no were to be found that night so what good is that even. at least if they have camera's in the building and no one is there to wittness a crime happening or people dont want to speak up then the camera's will speak for its self. I do understand people are scared or have to live there thats why i think the cameras will help. I heard that 4 other people have gotten killed in the same building since 2005 and to me that's sad to know. I know its literly not the property owners fault per say for the deaths but i think they can do something about it to make others feel safe to live were they have to live. I pray that the youth of today wake up and realize what they are doing. they are living a fast life and going no were but in the ground or jail for the rest of their lives. Then what happens to the family left behind, well those who do care? I pray for your young son that you keep him close and teach him right from wrong and not let him listen to all that rap and video games just all these things make the youth the way they are. i wish the rappers would see what they are doing to our kids because they follow behind the trends of today and think its cool. God bless you and yours

one love,

from one mother to another
