Who can replace Benazir Bhutto?

I was shocked and saddened to hear that Benazir Bhutto was murdered. I was hoping she would Pakistan to a more democratic direction.

Is there anyone who could take her place as a charismatic moderate leader in Pakistan?

7 thumbs up

This is really major.

I think she was one of the bravest women in today's world. To manage to become a political leader in one of the worst countries for women, and to stand up to her rights against prejudice and injustice, is a very major thing.

I doubt any one in Pakistan or anywhere actually has the guts to fill those shoes.

These are Huge shoes. There aren't many politicians as strong willed as her in Pakistan. To add on that her being a woman, a role model for women all over Pakistan, I don't see where a woman politician will rise from.

I have a feeling the world has lost one of its great leaders and the Pakistani people will suffer from being deprived her leadership.

Noone should repace her at the this time in pakistan the policies she spoke off need to be done by the current government or new elected leader. She had proven to have the right ideas for the country, peace and ecological growth for pakistan, but im not sure she had the expertise to deliver these fully, also as a women it would be of been difficult to be totally acceped as a leader in a country like pakistan for some peoples veiws at this time which is not really for any one to judge. The govenment and army of pakistan should take on her policies and decide exactly who are the problem people in the country from the majority.
