How do I remove streaks of Teflon from coating?

My iron left streaks of non-stick Teflon coating on a brand new blouse.  Is there any way to remove it?  I can't peel it up; it's more like a smear that has worked down into the fabric.  Anyone have any suggestions?

Ya! Take the iron back and tell them they owe you a new blouse. I have never in my life had an iron that the teflon came off on any of my clothes! That should not happen. Are you sure there wasn't something melted on the sole plate before you ironed with it? If it is teflon, you have a defective coating on your iron, which needs to be replaced and so does your blouse.
