I have an antique typewriter, a German "ADLER" Model 15, from 1915 (this model was manufactured berween 1909 to 1923) it is in an astonishing good condition. Lately, I've discovered some nasty rust I want to remove, without the risk of demaging the typewriter. I do not want to use a regular rust remover or metal brushes. Any ideas of a smart way to do it?
Try Coca-Kola. After getting rid of the rust you will stop drinking this "soft drink" and start using it as a "solid anti-ruster'.

For rust removal, try using a typewriter eraser. It works well and you can buy that in shops.
