God did not give me the spirit of fear, but that of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.  11Timothy 1:7

It depends on the religion of the person whom you ask this question.  The only true religion is through the shed blood of Jesus.  He had to die so that we could be saved and have eternal life.  My Pastor loves his congregation, and is there for us, but I don't believe he would die so that I might have eternal life.  I am a believer in God.  There is not one religion that will take me to heaven.  The churches serve as a purpose for learning and worshipping with your church family.  Your name on the church books mean nothing, the building is nothing, the teaching and preaching is nothing until you accept Christ as your personal Savior.  He is the Master of our destination, religion can not give us what the Lord can.  Seek Him first, and then he will lead you into the church He feels you will be more comfortable in.  God Bless

And He hath made my mouth like a sharp sword;  in the shadow of His hand hath He hid me,  and made me a polished shaft;  in  His  quiver  hath He hid me---Isaiah 49:2.

Raydan, consider this: what do YOU want? Heaven Or Hell?  the Answer for Heaven will contain the Name of Jesus as the messiah, the Lamb of god the truth and the light.  Any thing else is just so much bow'ng and squirming before man made objects, and is just so much dirty  loundry and these will end up serving the Prince of the air,Who's former name was Lucifer and is now known as Satan, He rules all other beliefs! So Choose who you will serve; God Or man,{also called Mammon}.

I am Agnostic, because I feel that is the best belief to hold for my own self. It may be different for you. My advice: lots of research before you make a decision. You can start from Experiencing the World's ReligionsIt provides a clear and compelling account of the world's major religious traditions.
