It is unfortunate that atheists have the most restrictive and fanatical cult that ever existed. It is not a new cult. When you people come to realize that you are 1/3 dead until you come spiritually alive, then you will finally be alive indeed.
Until then, you are just going through the motions, unaware and utterly naive.

Cynics have always been with us, some more obnoxious than others, and some more deceptive than others, and some more irascible than others, but cynics like those in the atheist cult have never done anything new or exciting.
Ever.
It is like having a stereo and you never hook up the speakers or install the satellite system. All youget is static, because you denied yourselves the chance to listen to Brahms, Mozart, Wagner, and Chopin.
Why?
Self pity.
You cynics seem to think that if you force others to take sides with you in your atheist cult, you will be less lonely.
It never works out that way, does it? Your "friends" in your cult will find by their early forties that life is not worth living and so, they end their misery, trying every minute to "convince" themselves that they don't even have a uman spirit or a destiny or anything else that makes human beings -- human.
How hard is it to come to your senses, do a little math, and come spiritually alive?
How long must you exist in a state of cynical hopelessness, a third dead, and all your hopes to actually be fully alive slip by you and you never even knew it.
By all means, cynics, continue being overcautious. Continue a living death and you still don't know the difference.
But cynics, realize that bright people grab all the life that they can -- and folks, there is plenty to go around. All you need do is grab it.
