Since they weren't grown in a womb, a belly button would have been of no use to them. That said, maybe they did have them, so they wouldn't be worried when Cain, Abel, and Seth came out with these funny holes in their tummies... Who knows?!

"Wilson! I know you're in there! I can hear you caring." - Dr. Gregory House

That's begging the question, really. Whether or not Adam and Eve literally existed has never been proven. That said, if they *did* exist, logic says they would not have had belly buttons since they were never in utero.

No! Because neither of them came from a mother. A bellybotton would have to have an umbillicale  cord. Adam came from  the earth and Eve came from a rib.

Unfortunately i disagree most humbly with the other posters on this question.

Yes, i do believe both Adam and Eve had belly buttons.  Why?  Because scripture says that Man was created in the image of G-d.  Meaning that G-d gave Man everything He had Himself meaning.   God has canine teeth(He eats meat), a penile foreskin, and a belly button.

How come G-d has a belly button?  From out of the Chaos that He came from, formed his own belly button.
