Impossible to say. These people who take "Polls", etc., are just blowing smoke. If you ask people, many will say they are Christians, but are misinformed as to what being a Christian really means (read the Bible), or lying.  You can't tell by who is going to "church". Many people go to church who don't really believe but will quicily recant at the first sign of persecution. Some who are Christian's can't or won't go to church. Many are hiding in places where they are persecuted or killed for their faith.

In the last analysis only God knows the answer to that question. I hope you will someday get the opportunity to ask Him. But only true, born-again Christians are going to be able to see God and ask Him.

Why don't you, instead, concentrate on getting saved and being the best possible (Biblical), sin-free Christian you can be. "What good does it do a man to own the whole world, but lose his own soul?"

A better question is how many people in the world follow the teachings of Yeshua, the peacenik rabbi. Millions profess to be Christians. That means nothing.

I offer this quote........

Mohandas Gandhi : "I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ."

guamus:    Impossible to say. These people who take "Polls", etc., are just blowing smoke.

Sim:  There are methods of approximation to get ball park figures, which suffice.  2.1 billion Christians of some sort.  Islam the fastest growing religion at the current time, worldwide.

guamus:    If you ask people, many will say they are Christians, but are misinformed as to what being a Christian really means (read the Bible), or lying.

Sim:  It's more likely an identity.  And who's to say, one way or the other?  There are over 133,000 different sects and denominations in Christianity, alone, all claiming to have the real deal in one way or another.

guamus:  But only true, born-again Christians are going to be able to see God and ask Him.

Sim:  What?  No Catholics in heaven?  No Mormons in heaven?  Muslims are left out?  Hindus, too?  Over 4 billion people either don't know about being born-again, or have been raised in other belief systems.  No heaven for them?

hey sureitmatters, and sims, none of us are the judge... so nobody knows who will be saved until that final day.  I'm sure there will be many people that day who change their mind of many faiths.
